Ryan Ngo, known as Shanks, is a 23 year old Canadian-Vietnamese content creator and former professional Valorant player currently signed to G2 Esports. The name comes from his love of One Piece, specifically the character Shanks from the series, which tells you something about the personality behind the stream. His brother Kevin is also involved in esports, making it something of a family business.
The competitive background is real. Starting with Team Underrated in 2020, Ryan worked his way through NRG, Rise, Dignitas and Immortals before transitioning into full-time content creation, first with FaZe Clan and now representing G2. The Valorant credentials give the channel a credibility that pure variety streamers cannot fake, and the audience that shows up for his Radiant-level gameplay clearly appreciates the difference.
Slots feature alongside the Valorant content, giving the channel a broader appeal beyond the esports crowd. Streaming close to nine hours a day with an audience primarily based in the USA, the channel has built serious momentum with a peak of over 16,000 concurrent viewers.
