GGPoker has expanded its Streamer Mode to include Kick, letting approved poker streamers broadcast their play there alongside Twitch and YouTube. Streamers who qualify get up to 100% cashback, effectively a full rakeback refund on the rake they'd normally pay while actively streaming. Approved streamers also get automatic card protection through a dedicated Streamer Panel, exclusive avatar borders, and priority placement inside the GGPoker client itself, so players browsing the poker software get pointed straight to their stream.
Who Qualifies for GGPoker Streamer Mode
Qualifying isn't automatic. GGPoker requires at least three months of consistent poker content and an average of more than 40 concurrent viewers before a streamer gets approved. At least half the tables shown on stream also have to be played on GGPoker itself, so the program rewards real GGPoker activity, not just any poker content with an audience.
Why This Is a Bigger Deal Than It Looks
The platform shares founders with crypto casino Stake and maintains looser moderation than Twitch. That reputation has made risk-averse advertisers cautious about Kick, which is exactly why GGPoker's official expansion there is notable. It also lines up with GGPoker's own reasoning for launching Streamer Mode in the first place: the company said poker streaming was in real decline, with total watch time and average viewership both dropping roughly 44% in 2025 even as the number of poker streaming channels grew. Backing streamers financially is GGPoker's answer to that slide, and Kick, with its younger, faster-growing audience, is the next logical platform to bet on.
