Triton ONE opens its first European festival today in Kyrenia, where the season-long Player ONE race will be decided. Spain’s Ander Vallinas brings a 122-point lead to Northern Cyprus. His closest challenger, French player Nguyen Thi Xoa, finished seventh in the $3,000 QQPK Genesis in Jeju. That same event opens the Cyprus festival today.
Jeju set a record for the tour in March when the $8,000 Main Event drew 1,230 entries. Vallinas finished second to Zhao Wenjie there. The Cyprus Main Event begins November 10 at the Merit Royal Diamond, and the Triton Super High Roller Series takes over on November 15 for a run through November 30.
What viewers can follow from home
Triton has set up three tables for streaming. The organizer expects to show selected action early in the larger tournaments and provide full coverage once the remaining players have secured a payout. Viewers can also track players away from the cameras in the Triton Poker Plus app. Chip counts for fans at home run on the same delay as the broadcast, so a change in a player’s stack won’t give away the outcome of a hand still on screen. Between Triton sessions, you can browse live poker streams on Twitch and Kick.
Thursday’s Genesis flights start at noon and 6 p.m. local time (10 a.m. and 4 p.m. UTC). Both give players 250,000 chips, but the evening flight moves faster, with blinds rising every 30 minutes instead of every 40. Two more flights follow on Friday before the surviving players meet on Saturday, November 7.
Who can catch Vallinas?
Triton’s October 27 standings put Vallinas on 982 points after he cashed in four of his five events at Triton ONE Jeju and reached three final tables. Nguyen Thi Xoa enters the Cyprus stop with 860 points. Vietnam’s Nguyen Huu Dung is third on 773 and won the Genesis in Jeju.
The player who finishes the season on top earns $66,000 in credit toward Triton tournaments in 2027. For viewers, the key date is Sunday, November 15. The $8,000 Main Event and the $15,000 High Roller both resume for their final day at noon local time (10 a.m. UTC).
